Verification

Verification means that selected contact or representation details were checked using the stated method. It is not a guarantee of product quality, customer satisfaction, reliability, legal compliance or a GrowShop recommendation.

A listing is published only after its source is reviewed and its basic identity and contact details are consistent. Publication is not a score of product or service quality.

Information checked

Business name, store type, city, street address or online-service information, contact channels, and any official website or map source are compared for consistency.

First-party sources: the business's official website, verifiable domain and direct declaration
Location sources: consistency between the street address and map listing
Public institutional sources: records supporting business identity when needed
Community reports: not verification by themselves, but they may trigger a new review

What verification levels mean

The profile label describes only the scope of the completed check. No label guarantees a purchase, confirms legal compliance, measures customer satisfaction or represents a GrowShop recommendation.

Sourced listing: identity and basic contact details match published sources
Location verification: the physical address is consistent with a map or first-party source
Business verification: an additional check through an authorised representative or corporate channel

Freshness and re-checks

Store information can change. The last update and verification dates show when it was reviewed. Conflicting sources, a closure report or a material change may trigger review, temporary unpublication or archiving.

Errors and corrections

Businesses and visitors may submit a correction or removal request with supporting sources. The report is compared with current sources, additional business information may be requested, and the action is recorded in the audit trail.
